Restaurant At Eight receives second toque

The most important Austrian gourmet guide Gault Millau has granted two toques to the restaurant At Eight on the ground floor of The Ring, Vienna’s casual luxury hotel.

Head chef Thomas Seifried and his team At Eight at The Ring are celebrating the second toque in only two years. 15 points for the distinct aroma cuisine of Thomas Seifried are acknowledging the fascinating combinations with which he is pampering his guests. Thomas Seifried’s cuisine is focusing on high-quality, seasonal products, various spices and sauces and fresh domestic and exotic herbs which he combines with essential oils.

"The award of the second toque means a lot to us," rejoices Thomas Seifried. "It is acclaiming the path that we have constantly and strategically followed since the opening in 2007. I’m moreover positive that it will help resolve to old and wrong prejudice that one cannot expect as much from hotel kitchens as from classical restaurants."
